    A. Positive Forms
  •     I always get up at 5 am.

 B.Negative Forms
  •     We do not deceive you.
  •     David doesn't drink coffee very often.
  •     His uncle and aunt don't seem to be interested in him.
  •     Danny's little brother doesn't stay alone.
  •     I never drink coffee at night
Notes :
- do not = don't
- is not  = isn't
- does not = doesn't
- are not   = aren't

   3.1. The First Definition
          The Present Simple is used  to express an action that happens again and again or a present habit.

Examples
  • I got to work by motorcycle everyday . (again and again)
  • He smokes twenty cigarettes a day. (A present habit)
  • My daughter does the washing up every morning. (Regular time)
  • She washes her hair twice a week.
  • My cousin does the washing on Sundays.
  • I usually get up at 5 o'clock in the morning.
  • He always works from dawn to dusk.
  • I rarely go for a walk at night.
    3.2. The Second Definition
            The Present Simple is used to express a fact, which is always true.

Examples
  • Sambath Ratanak Comes from Cambodia. (A fact)
  • My daughter has brown eyes. (Permanent)
  • The earth goes round the sun. (All time)
  • I want $20. (Now)
  • Some birds fly south in winter.
  • You are tired.Why don't you go to bed early?
    3.2. The Third Definition
            The Present Simple is used to express a fact,which stays the same for a long time.

Examples
  • I live in a flat in the center of town.
  • My elder brother works in an export and import company.
  • Nurses look after patients in hospital.
  • My father works in Ministry of Interior.
  • He prefers coffee to tea.
   3.4. The Present Simple is often used with adverbs of frequency



Examples:
  • She's never late for work.
  • I rarely see you these days.
  • My younger sister doesn't often go for a walk.She has a busy day.
  • I sometimes study English and tourism until 2 o'clock at night.
  • I usually in a hurry in the morning.
  • Being a student,I always pay attention to my course.
